SCANIA AB
Scania AB is a Swedish manufacturer of commercial vehicles: trucks, tractors, buses and diesel engines, based in Södertälje, Sweden. The name Scania comes from the county of the same name.
Its history began in 1900 with Vagnfabriksaktiebolaget Södertelge. In 1911 Scani-Vabis was created by merging Maskinfabriksaktiebolaget Scania with Vagnfabriksaktiebolaget Södertelge; the company during of World War I produced various types of light and heavy duty vehicles, including trucks and buses.
